What is Cancer Karma?

Good things happen to good people. That is (at least half of) what karma is all about!

Making portraits is my way of giving back to the people who stepped up and donated to support my personal favorite charity:
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) / The Jimmy Fund.

DFCI helps patients
Donors help DFCI
I help the donors with a photo
Photography helps make me happy
Everybody wins!

By making their portrait, I am trying to provide donors with (hopefully) something of value to them in return for their donation. At the same time, this gives me a chance to recognize the everyday people who are making a huge difference in the lives and care of people they may not even know. The people in the photos you see here are the people we as a society should be lifting up for all to see!

Want to be a part?

While I am only able to shoot portraits of people local to me in Massachusetts (unless you want to fly me somewhere exotic, of course!), anyone can be a part of this project by donating to a great cause.
  • Want a new Facebook pic? We can do that!
  • Linked In profile photo in need of an update? Here's your chance.
  • Most recent family portait missing a family member or two? Time to update.
  • Out-of-towner? Donate on behalf of someone else who is local to MA and I'll make their portrait.
  • If you are from out of town and ever make it to MA, look me up and we'll get it done!
Finally, if you support "The Dana-Farber," The Jimmy Fund, the concept here, or you just like helping those in need - please spread the word.
