Making portraits is my way of giving back to the people who stepped up and donated to support my personal favorite charity:
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) / The Jimmy Fund.
DFCI helps patients
Donors help DFCI
I help the donors with a photo
Photography helps make me happy
Everybody wins!
By making their portrait, I am trying to provide donors with (hopefully) something of value to them in return for their donation. At the same time, this gives me a chance to recognize the everyday people who are making a huge difference in the lives and care of people they may not even know. The people in the photos you see here are the people we as a society should be lifting up for all to see!
Want to be a part?
While I am only able to shoot portraits of people local to me in Massachusetts (unless you want to fly me somewhere exotic, of course!), anyone can be a part of this project by donating to a great cause.
- Want a new Facebook pic? We can do that!
- Linked In profile photo in need of an update? Here's your chance.
- Most recent family portait missing a family member or two? Time to update.
- Out-of-towner? Donate on behalf of someone else who is local to MA and I'll make their portrait.
- If you are from out of town and ever make it to MA, look me up and we'll get it done!
